1. Locate the short sleeve pattern piece in the size you’re making.2. Measure the length of this short sleeve pattern piece from the top of the sleeve to the bottom of the sleeve at the fold line.3. Use length you just determined and transfer it to the long sleeve part 1/2 pattern piece at the fold line and draw a perpendicular line at this measured length. This newly drawn line will now be the new hemline. 4. Measure the length of the remaining long side of the part 1/2 pattern piece.5. Use this second length on the longest side of the long sleeve part 2/2 pattern piece to draw a perpendicular line. This newly drawn line will now be the new hemline. 6. Now you have both pattern pieces to make a short sleeve version
