With Spring here and summer coming, how do you make the already perfect Regina even more perfect for the season? Make the Regina sleeveless and and ruffles! Follow the directions below and do not forget to show us your result in our Facebook Group or tag us on IG (@Sofilantjes_anne).

This tutorial is made by Noortje, go say hi over on IG and thank her by following her account.

Step 1.

You follow the instructions of the Regina Ruffle Add-On until you have pinned the ruffle right sides together with the Regina bodice.

Step 2.

Instead of basting the ruffle, you stitch it with a 1cm seam allowance. Make sure your ruffle is the right length before stitching.

Step 3.

After you stitched the ruffle you lock or zigzag the entire sleeve opening.

Step 4.

Close the side seam.

Step 5.

Turn the bodice right side out.
Turn the raw edge below the ruffle (the part that will be under the arm), to the inside. Use a seam of 1cm.
Stitch the entire sleeve opening, just next to the raw edge. Use a slightly larger stitch.

Step 6.

Give it a good steam.

Step 7.

Repeat for the other side.
And you’re ready to attach your skirt to your bodice.

It’s absolutely perfect.
