My little Hero had his birthday last week, and he wanted a Big Hero 6 party. I bought a few panels awhile back. One of them is a Big Hero 6 panel. So yes, I went for the ‘best mommy ever award’ again. I love that I get to sew things for my children, and they ask me to. One day, when they are older, they might stop wanting me to, but for now, I am enjoying every minute of it.
I used our newest pattern for this sweater, The Semper Sweater. This pattern will be released after Easter.
The option is Option B but without the pockets. I also cut up the front piece to add the panel. It was not high enough, and thanks to cutting at night, the panel got a little shorter. I really need to stop cutting my fabric at night. I always end up messing something up.
The solids on this shirt I both bought at Droomstoffen. So far, I am delighted with the quality of them. She told me she tried a few brands and washed them a few times to see if they fade. She pays attention to her fabrics. I love that about her.
My Hero loves to wear shirts with cowls. It’s hilarious because my little Diva dislikes wearing cowls a lot. She always removes them when I put the Hibernis on her. My Hero, however, loves them and chooses them above a hooded shirt. Does your child like wearing cowls, or does he or she prefers hoods?
*One small note*
Before I wrote, this pattern will be perfect for mixing and matching with the Omni Tempore pattern. We found we had to change the neckline during testing, so the mix and match would no longer work. Lucky for us, the design is excellent anyway.
